what white is right

Sun Nov 8, 2009, 11:55 AM
No not a racial comment but when inking ive been having trouble dealing with white effects or corrections over large areas. Currently im using some Dr. Martin white stuff but if i have to correct over a large area with it, inking on top of it tends to bubble up and it just becomes a big ass mess.

So to you inkers what do you use for white and how do you use it, such as dilution preparations ect?

Well im an aerospace engineer that moonlights as a comic book penciler and more stuff to come.

A quote from Liam Sharp a DA memebr and artist. Its something everyone should hear at least once when your comic is late.

"Comic art is an incredible mental feat that utilizes spacial-awareness, subconscious trigonometry, choreography, lighting, depth-perception, anatomical interpretation, acting, set design and boundless imaginative leaps. It mixes art with draughtsmanship, math, scientific grasp and a solid understanding of the physical, while still requiring a suspension of disbelief - and it's all constrained by boxes dictated by the writer, and reproduced ultimately on pretty small pieces of paper."
